Sessions during the 2018 Concordia Annual Summit will address: civic engagement and the political middle; the role of the private sector in addressing refugee crises; diversity, equity, and accountability: the future of work; disaster preparedness; youth employment and economic capacity building in sub-Saharan Africa; CEOs combating modern day slavery; entrepreneurship and innovation across the Americas; moving the needle on human rights in the middle east; advancing healthcare by expanding access to clinical trials; and innovative financing for peace.

In addition, Concordia and the Global Blockchain Business Council are bringing Blockchain Central to the 2018 Concordia Annual Summit in New York City. Blockchain Central will be the premier venue during UNGA for all things Blockchain, including blockchain specific programming and a Blockchain Central lounge for networking and demonstrations throughout the conference.

This Summit is taking part during Global Goals Week 2018, which is a collective effort to maximize the value of events and activations held during the opening of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 73) and focused on driving progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals.
