The UN Economic and Social Council's (ECOSOC) 2017 Partnership Forum will take place on the theme 'Partnerships for promoting opportunities, increased prosperity and sustainable development for all'. Mary Robinson of the Mary Robinson Foundation-Climate Justice will deliver a keynote address, and two interactive roundtables will focus on ‘Innovative Partnerships for resilient infrastructure, including in countries in special situations,’ and ‘Principles and guidelines governing UN-associated partnerships.’ The Forum has served as a platform for discussion on partnerships since 2008, bringing together stakeholders, particularly from business and foundations, to discuss with governments ways in which to engage in support of the internationally agreed development goals.
