The Environmental Emergencies Forum (EEF) aims to showcase experiences and innovations in improving prevention, preparedness and response to environmental emergencies, and for advocating the integration of environmental concerns into humanitarian action. This forum meeting will explore the nexus of environmental risk, humanitarian crisis and climate change, and identify ways to better prepare for and respond to environmental emergencies. The Forum will bring together representatives from governments, industry, academia, aid agencies and civil society share the common goal of helping countries effectively respond to environmental emergencies. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection are hosting the 2015 Forum.
