The 2014 substantive session of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) will include a High-level Segment, as well as the second meeting of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). The HLPF meeting – taking place on 30 June-3 July – will include a three-day ministerial segment, and is expected to adopt a negotiated declaration. The ECOSOC High-level Segment will take place on 7-11 July, with 7-9 July devoted to the HLPF.
