The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) are jointly convening the 2014 CIF Partnership Forum, hosting more than 400 participants from civil society, the private sector, governments, indigenous peoples and academia. A special pre-conference event on 22 June, 'Stakeholder Day,' will be dedicated to discussing progress and challenges in engaging key stakeholders in the CIF's activities. During the conference, panels will address a variety of topics including managing climate change programs and unlocking private finance from mini-grids to REDD+. The CIF is the world's largest group of funds for climate action, channeling $8 billion to low carbon and climate resilient development. On 25 June, a field trip will take place.
