The Budapest Water Summit will take place from 8-11 October 2013 the context of the International Year of Water Cooperation, and will seek to contribute to the elaboration of water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to discuss solutions to water-related challenges. It will convene under the theme “The Role of Water and Sanitation in the Global Sustainable Development Agenda”. The Summit is organised by the Government of Hungary in cooperation with the United Nations systems and the World Water Council.
