The 18th Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF-18) will be held in conjunction with the fourth meeting of the Open-Ended Meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (OECPR-4).

Self-organized by Major Groups and Stakeholders through the Major Groups Facilitation Committee, and led by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), the Forum will prepare participants for the fourth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-4) and associated meetings. It will identify key themes and decisions under consideration by the Assembly, and provide a platform for an exchange of views and expertise between governments, Major Groups and Stakeholders, and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).

UNEA-4 will convene under the theme, ‘Innovative Solutions for Environmental Challenges and Sustainable Consumption and Production,’ from 11-15 March 2019, in Nairobi, Kenya.
