At this meeting, national and international experts will review and discuss methodological developments in key areas of gender concern in the SDG framework, the work of the IAEG-GS Advisory Group on Gender Indicators and the alignment of the Minimum Set of Gender Indicators with the Global SDG indicator framework, capacity building efforts in gender statistics, and preparation of the 7th Global Forum on Gender Statistics, which will be hosted by Japan in November 2018, among other topics.
