The UN Inter-Agency and Expert Group on the SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) will hold its tenth meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 21-24 October 2019, hosted by the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
The meeting will have a particular focus on preparations for the 2020 Comprehensive Review, including to review the proposals for revising, replacing, adding and deleting global indicators from the SDG framework. The full provisional agenda is here.
The first day will be open to IAEG members only, followed by a three-day plenary session to which all countries, international and regional agencies and entities, and other stakeholders are invited.
The IAEGs is currently chaired by the lead statistical officials from Sweden and Tanzania.
