11-13 April 2018 Nairobi, Kenya
10th Africa Carbon Forum

Convening during Africa Climate Week 2018 under the theme, ‘Climate Action for Sustainable Development: Driving Change in Africa,’ the 10th Africa Carbon Forum (ACF) will focus on how engagement between state and non‐state actors can be strengthened in the key sectors for Africa such as energy, agriculture and human settlements. The ACF will address the role of future carbon markets to achieve enhanced climate action towards the SDGs. Among other issues, the Forum will also consider ways to enhance means of implementation for SDG 17 (partnerships for the Goals), and to merge the SDGs and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

The ACF is organized by the UNFCCC Secretariat, UN Environment Programme (UNEP, or UN Environment), UN Development Programme (UNDP), UNEP Partnership with the Technical University of Denmark (UNEP-DTU), the World Bank and others, and hosted by the Government of Kenya.
