Share Your Stories About Implementation of SDGs 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 14 and 17

Has your organization produced a report with guidelines for implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under review by the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) this year? Have you designed a project related to one or more of these SDG issues that other sustainable development professionals could learn from?

IISD’s SDG Knowledge Hub (http://sdg.iisd.org/) is inviting proposals for guest articles regarding early implementation efforts related to:

SDG 1 (No poverty)

SDG 2 (Zero Hunger)

SDG 3 (Good health and well-being)

SDG 5 (Gender equality)

SDG 9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure)

SDG 14 (Life below water)

SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals)

These seven Goals will be in the spotlight at the first thematic review of the SDGs, which will take place during the July 2017 meeting of the HLPF – the central UN platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDG Knowledge Hub will be publishing a series of guest articles focused on these SDGs in the lead-up to the review. We are inviting expressions of interest for short implementation case studies and reviews of implementation data related to one or more of the seven SDGs. If your proposal for a 700-1,000 word guest article is selected, we will follow up with a timeline for submission and additional guidelines. Please send proposals to sdgs@iisd.org with the following information:

Name, title and email address of contact person for correspondence:

Name and title of guest article author(s) (if different from above):

We would also like to express our appreciation for your support as readers of the SDG Knowledge Hub. It is now four months since we consolidated our Policy & Practice knowledgebases into a single entry point – the SDG Knowledge Hub. Your feedback and the number of new SDG list subscriptions suggest that this change has met an important need for those tracking SDG implementation. We will continue to work behind the scenes to improve your experience with our products, as we continue to document SDG implementation successes and narratives through 2030.

We look forward to receiving your proposals for guest articles and thank you for your readership.

Best regards,

The SDG Knowledge Hub team
